Splash MM was on-site with The Globe and Mail at the majestic Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville, ON for this year’s RBC Canadian Open. With such a huge talent pool including the likes of Hunter Mahan, Bubba Watson and Brandt Snedeker among others, large crowds flocked to watch their favorite players shoot for the win.
Splash MM brand ambassadors were stationed throughout the vendor’s section providing each on-comer with a multitude of Globe and Mail complimentary products and experiences. For those that arrived early in the morning and forgot to brush up on their reading, brand ambassadors provided a complimentary Globe and Mail newspaper each day. This was accompanied with a Copa Airlines brochure, G Adventures brochure, a complimentary 90-day subscription offer and a Globe and Mail Bag.
Splash MM also utilized their technology driven knowledge to arm their brand ambassadors with Ipads. Each consumer was entered for a chance to win a grand prize trip to the Amazon provided by G Adventures and Copa airlines. For those that wanted more of an experience, pictures were taken to mimic the front page of The Globe and Mail featuring headlines, photos and information that was sent to each person’s email to view after the event. With such a large crowd gathering each day thousands of golf enthusiasts were pleased with the experience they had at the Globe and Mail booth and Splash MM brand ambassadors.
