The Splash MM Team invaded Dundas Square in downtown Toronto and Rue de la Montangne in downtown Montreal for a unique one day stunt to promote Rimmel London’s latest mascara brand, Scandaleyes.

The scenario called for the gorgeous Splash ladies dressed as jailbirds wearing ScandalEyes mascara and handsome young Splash gentlemen dressed as British “Bobbies” positioned in and around a steel-barred jail cell. The setting was inspired by Rimmel London’s recent television ads in which the new ScandalEyes Mascara renders women guilty of having scandalous volume and dangerously long eyelashes.

The bobbies and jailbirds used key slogans and messages to attract passersby over to the mugshot area complete with a height ruler where they were informed about the new product and asked to take a “mug-shot” with their selection of jailbirds and bobbies. The photos were then uploaded onto Rimmel London’s Facebook page where participants were instructed they could find their photo by “liking” the page.
