One of the most anticipated events in the world this year was the Centennial Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede! Splash MM rode into town on July 6 for the 10 day outdoor show and corralled its finest reps to promote PlayStation and the Sony Entertainment Network right in the heart of the Stampede grounds.
Splashers were stationed in two Steel Spaces set-up back-to-back in a busy intersection of the grounds, located just across from the Bell Centennial Plaza. The PlayStation crew was working hard to accommodate the masses that wanted to try out some of the latest releases on the PS3 such as Starhawk, May Payne 3 and MLB 2012: The Show. They were also busy running homerun derbies and other competitions for visitors to try and win some sweet PS swag, like sunglasses and t-shirts.
On the other side of the booth Splashers were representing the Sony Entertainment Network. Reps were having fun interacting with Stampede patrons and drawing them to the booth to sign up for a contest to win a PS Vita, a 50″ Sony Bravia TV and a Sony Internet Player. Among Sony products being demonstrated were VAIO laptops, the Sony Tablet, 55″ TVs, as well as the SEN’s Music Unlimited on the PS3.
